Tickle is searching for an Email Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects of Tickle&#8217;s ongoing member and customer communications. The Email Marketing Manager will lead email marketing efforts for all Tickle properties and will be primarily responsible for campaign planning and management, driving email strategy, sharing results, vendor management and forecasting.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:<br />
•    Maintain the timely execution of Tickle&#8217;s member and customer marketing campaigns<br />
•    Develop and manage email marketing efforts, forecasting resource requirements, managing relationships, calendars, content plans and communicating timelines.<br />
•    Develop a testing strategy to continually optimize email performance, from delivery to purchase<br />
•    Identify, test and implement new opportunities to improve conversion and customer satisfaction via email communications.<br />
•    Set and deliver quarterly and annual targets to be tied back to P&amp;L.<br />
•    Manage and optimize the design, content and layout of all email communications.<br />
•    Coordinate with internal/external design, product and marketing stakeholders to develop business cases, campaigns, briefs, effective designs and landing experiences for email initiatives.<br />
•    Analyze, monitor and communicate performance of email initiatives to business stakeholders.<br />
•    Maintain email best practices including browser/client compatibility, appearance of subject lines, use of images etc.<br />
•    Monitor and minimize unsubscribe/bounce/complaint rates and ensure spam regulation compliance (e.g. CAN-SPAM).</p>
<p>Qualifications:<br />
•    Minimum 1+ years email marketing experience including hands-on experience:</p>
<p>• Maintain email best practices including browser/client compatibility, appearance of subject lines, use of images etc.<br />
• Monitor and minimize unsubscribe/bounce/complaint rates and ensure spam regulation compliance (e.g. CAN-SPAM).</p>
<p>•    Excellent project management, time management, and problem solving skills.</p>
<p>•    Experience in the design and execution of A/B and multivariate testing programs online and in email<br />
•    Strong initiative.<br />
•    Excellent understanding of email campaign performance metrics.<br />
•    Solid understanding of email delivery and deliverability issues.<br />
•    Solid communication and presentation skills.<br />
•    Good working knowledge of HTML.<br />
•    Experience in a retail environment preferred.</p>

A brand new women’s magazine is starting up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina specializing in luxury lifestyles. We have an empty desk! Instead of guessing at who’s the best, we’ll let our readers decide. The intern who, after the 12 weeks are up, has the largest following and creates the most influential articles in the magazine will move on to a full-time writing career.<br />
Responsibilities<br />
Write, develop and produce stories across a range of sections. At least one real and publishable article must be put forth each week.<br />
Contribute to the overall voice of the magazine.<br />
Fact-checking fellow interns work.<br />
Developing co-authored stories between interns.<br />
Publishing articles to the magazine’s website.<br />
Updating Twitter and Facebook multiple times daily.<br />
Developing contacts and maintaining relationships with sources.<br />
Gather coffee for all employees. Err, just kidding about the coffee.<br />
Experience<br />
Experience working with a team under tight deadlines.<br />
Strong interests in things a women’s magazine would publish. This might include culture, literature, food &amp; wine, family life, fashion, or entertainment.<br />
Must be mature and self-motivated.<br />
Skills<br />

Education<br />
In college, ideally pursuing a degree in English, communications, creative writing or journalism.<br />
